Marien Simeni is interested in harnessing the molecular energy transfers and chemical kinetics occurring in non-equilibrium plasmas for developing plasma-based technologies relevant for energy and advanced manufacturing applications.

Research: Jianan's research focuses on electrical and optical diagnostics (emission, laser-scattering, fluorescence and nonlinear wave mixing) on plasma discharges and laser-produced plasmas. He also has a strong expertise in generating plasmas in liquids.
